The fruit is tasty, but the leaves and the leaves hold immune-building punch. The leaves are high in Vitamin A, B, C, and E, as well as, phosphorous, iron, and calcium.

Dry the leaves and make a tea. The tea is a wonderful-tasting beverage that can keep the bloodstream clean. Red Raspberry leaf tea is one of the few medicinal herbs that gives immune support. The high concentration of vitamin C in raspberry leaf makes it great during illness.

How to Brew Raspberry Leaf Tea

Pour 8 ounces of boiling water over 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of raspberry leaf (depending on how strong you like your tea). Steep, covered, for at least 5 minutes and drink as regular tea.

Health benefits of raspberries:

1. Burns fat: The red fruit is packed with fibre and manganese. Manganese on the other side increases your body metabolism which in turn helps burn body fat. 2. Reduces risk of heart attack: Ellagic acid in raspberries reduces the chances of suffering from a heart attack. The acid cuts down the bad cholesterol levels and lowers high blood pressure. Also salicylic acid in raspberries helps fight atherosclerosis and heart diseases. 3. Cures liver damage: A cup of raspberries can prevent cell and liver damage. It prevents the formation of plague on the artery walls (a risk factor and cause of liver cancer). 4. Keeps blood sugar stable: Although the fruit is sweet, you can have it to control the blood sugar levels. Adinopectin is released by the ketone and helps control the blood sugar levels. 5. Good for the skin: The antioxidants and vitamins in raspberries makes it a perfect fruit to have a tight and glowing skin. This in turn reduces the signs of aging. If you want to look young, have raspberries or apply it on your face.
