I remember my grandmother used a soap and sugar poultice for drawing out infections and splinters. This was passed down from my Grandmother, Marie Berry Cross, “The Herb Lady from Mecosta”.

Just your ordinary bath soap, but the old yellow cakes of laundry soap or liquid dish soap work just as well. Make a sugar and soap paste and put it on a piece of bread. Then attached it with with a bandage. It’s drawing power may be almost a miracle cure for drawing and usually overnight!
